Window Bird House

What Happens once a bird moves in?

When a bird moves into your birdhouse,it'll begin to build a nest for its family using twigs, moss, grass, and other items around the area.

If no birds are moving in,try moving your bird house to a different location. A quiet window that people aren't around often is best!

Natural Underground Spring Water

Spring Water

Health Benefits of Drinking Spring Water
One of the key benefits of natural spring water is that it comes from water that flows to the surface from a clean underground water source.

Thus, the water is considered to be free of most contaminants typically found in drinking water.

It also contains a level of minerals that is beneficial to health for most living things. Mineral-rich water will usually have a neutral or slightly alkaline pH.
Drinking alkaline water will help to neutralize acidity in the body and can reduce the amount of free radical damage. It will also help to keep bones and teeth strong and dense.
Many people who drink spring water do so because the water has such a clean, refreshing taste that is unequaled by other waters.

Stems

Observation of Stems
Every week we pick a different part of a flower or plant seed, stem, grass blades etc... I have each one set up for a total of a week. The children in our home form there own observation & compare the plants that we've gathered together or that I have set out for them.
I DO NOT drill into them all the parts or scientific words, at this age it's a Stem that provides "LIFE" to the plant. They'll typically converse together and ask questions on there own, it is at that point I will answer.
When their friends come over they're happy to express there new found knowledge.

Nature
Our Life,Our Planet,Our Home
IF we teach our children about NATURE and that all around us is "LIFE".It is in this teaching they will have a GREATER respect for our precious planet "EARTH".

See Water Travel

Photosynthesis
Plant can't go to the store to buy there own food,so how do they get it? Plants take water and carbon dioxide {a gas in the air}, and use sunlight to turn them into a kind of sugar called glucose. The plants use the glucose as food for energy and as building blocks for growing. They get help from something called chlorophyll, which gives leaves their green color. The process where plants turn water and carbon dioxide into sugar is called "photosynthesis".It means "putting together with light".
